Interiors Stylist and Creative Consultant

With over twenty years of experience in the interior industry, Rebecca has established her talents in the interior industry, styling interior spaces, designing sets for advertising and editorial photo shoots, events, and providing creative direction.

Rebecca perfected her art while working at Homes and Gardens magazine. Styling and producing interiors and lifestyle content for six years, prior to venturing out on her own as a freelancer. Later joining Livingetc as the Commissioned Styled Editor. Wherein she would conceptualize the interior shoots, taking into account the most current trends. Commissioning and directing a team to work on the interior features. And of course, styling some features herself.

Rebecca's keen eye for detail and sense of style have allowed her to establish a vast range of styles, from countryside chic to contemporary interiors. Her affinity for colour and pattern is indisputable. Using her skills, she is able to create engaging imagery, identify her audience, source props, and set design. Moreover, Rebecca has access to a wide network of suppliers, set designers, photographers, seamstresses, and PR professionals.

Interior Styling and Set Design

With over 25 years’ experience in the interiors industry, I produce, design and style for any interior, lifestyle brand, or magazine title creating images that target their specific brand and audience. This includes research, planning, creating the concepts, compiling the room schemes and any set design. I have a large contacts base of suppliers, set builders, photographers, seamstresses, and PRs that I can call upon.

Content Creation / creative direction

I create relevant and contemporary content that is specific to a brand or title. Researching, compiling, and editing interior features and supplements, tapping into my vast knowledge of PRs, brands, and trends.

Interior Design/ Home staging

Tapping into my vast knowledge of suppliers, and many years of creating room schemes for shoots, I have designed new room schemes, for real people’s homes.

I recently finished a complete refurbishment of a listed country home, where I designed new colour schemes for rooms, and selected the flooring, furniture, wall colour and soft furnishing. I also work on part redesigns of properties for the rental or sales market.

Events

With experience in set design, I can devise and implement any set for an interiors event. I have designed and produced the first ever Homes and Gardens Awards at the V&A.
